Dr. Gregory Nicholson, a Chicago-based, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is one of the leading national experts in the treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions. Dr. Nicholson specializes in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, and arthroscopic repair of the unstable shoulder.  He is one of the team physicians for the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls.  That experience, along with his extensive education and training in shoulder repair, makes him one of the best physicians in the country for treating overhead athlete’s shoulder and elbow injuries.

Dr. Nicholson is fellowship trained from Columbia University, New York, and is a nationally recognized speaker on shoulder replacement surgery.  He pioneered the investigation, early use, and design refinement of the reverse shoulder replacement, and is now one of the most experienced surgeons in the country using this technique.Dr. Nicholson is a partner in the Midwest Orthopedics at Rush physician practice and is well known for the application of biologics and other developing technologies to facilitate healing of the shoulder and elbow and the return to work and play.

Valet Parking for the Orthopedic Building is accessible from Harrison Street and from Flournoy Street, between the Orthopedic Building and the Rush Parking Garage. Also, the self pay Rush Parking Garage offers easy access to the Orthopedic Building via a weather-protected pedestrian walkway. Patients and visitors are encouraged to use Section A of the garage and should park on the east side of the 4th floor. Handicapped parking is available.
