About Us

Gregory P. Nicholson, MD

As a physician for professional athletes since 1993 — and currently a team physician for the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls — Dr. Gregory Nicholson has the experience and skills to help the professional, college, or high school athlete, as well as the weekend warrior, get back to doing what they love. Whether your goal is perfecting your tennis serve, winning that championship, or even making it to the minor or major leagues, each patient is treated with specialized, quality care by our team.

While we have experience with professionals, our shoulder and elbow practice treats patients of all ages and athletic abilities. We treat occupational, traumatic, degenerative, arthritic, neurologic, and fracture conditions of the shoulder and elbow. Treatment may be conservative or operative and can involve a simple cortisone injection or a total joint replacement. Schedule an appointment with us to assess what the best path forward may be for your case.
